Pedestal 2018

A song I made early during my freshman year of college whose original title and lyrics were so cringe, I don't even want to share them. While I was struggling to adjust to university life, I turned to The Front Bottoms' discography, listening to albums like I Hate My Friends, S/T, and Talon of the Hawk on repeat while my roomie cooed and flirted with somebody a couple feet away (our freshman dorms were very small). If you know of the band, you would definitely be able to hear the inspiration. I even had a pretty sick trumpet countermelody during the second chorus, but the original GarageBand file is now lost to time, and I only have this snippet left. The flute is meant to represent vocals.
